No...I go to Lowe's Where the stockers will do it for me. And I get 10% off for being a veteran.

  • Nope. Lift with your legs, NOT your back.

    Hey there ex..
I'd love to say yes to this question, only because I know it is a loaded question attempting to illustrate the need for illegal immigrants.But...I have to say No.
I have been alive for near 60years now. I have lived in my community for years. I have a network of friends and acquaintances that I can always call.
If I do need to hire some labor for a personal project I will usually go on craigslist and hire someone local.

I usually do my own heavy lifting.  I also have a hand truck. :-)

The only people hanging out at the Ft Lauderdale Home Depot are crack whores and toothless ex-cons on meth !

My neighbors across the street have three big, built sons. Two are fathers, one with an infant, all three are always looking for extra money. The few things here and there that I couldn't get on my own, I've paid them to help me move. The eldest was all too happy to have some extra cash for diapers. He offered to help me move a piano for nothing, but I wouldn't do anyone like that.

Just a tip, if you're going to hire a random person, offer the job to a homeless person or go to the nearest homeless shelter. Some of the best people I've ever worked with, heck, some of the best people I've known I hired at a local homeless shelter in NOLA.

No we don't have illegals hanging out at the Home Depot looking for work. I simply tell my husband I want that over there. Lol

No, I use the front end loader on my tractor or the 2-ton folding shop crane in the garage.

Those illegals hanging around the Home Despot (or the local 7-11) is so 8-years ago when the housing collapse happened and the "paid-under-the-table" construction jobs dried up. You don't still have them in Seattle, do you? I though your economy was booming there?
