Discussion»Questions»Finance» Do you think if I gambled all my (pension) money at the casino and became homeless I would eventually hit the jackpot and live happily ever
I usually only visit the casino once a year when the Pacific National Exhibition is happening and play the 25 cent slots. I did win a $500. jackpot one time. I think I could acquire a gambling addiction if I allowed myself. I used to do the roulette wheel all the time but luck ran out and I wasn't having fun losing too much too quickly.

I never did heroin but once to see what it felt like and I liked it too much and never touched it again.
The same with gambling. I lost, thank God, when I placed a bet at a race track that my boyfriend's friends said was a "sure thing". LOL. I put down 40 bucks and won nothing. If I had won, I think it would have maybe set off a trigger. Because gambling is easy to get addicted to. Like heroin, but more deadly.
If you're not already in the state of California, move here immediately before implementing your homelessness plan: the current governor and many of the mayors have ithings set up quite nicely for people in that situation.
I couldn't know the exact odds as I have no idea which games you'd play - but I can safely guess your odds of winning are stacked against you by the very nature of the game.
I know quite a few people who live homeless, and one who lived it for over forty years. If you want me to put you in touch so you can ask them about their experiences I will.
Well thanks but I am 73 yo and I think I will actually stay reasonabley comfortable where I am now and just visit the casino once a year like I have been for the last few years.
I don't know how much the biggest jackpot, but the one time I went to Vegas, I saw a man win 750,000 USD on a slot machine. I believe he bet $15. So play big to win big.
