Absolutely.  Stress can cause high blood pressure which may lead to a  heart attacks or a stroke.  If that doesn't happen, you might wish it had (if the stress is severe and prolonged). In a more abstract sense you can lose your will to live, which might lower your resistance to disease or drive to maintain a healthy life style.

Chronic stress is not good. But life has good years and bad years. We can use it to improve our life. If you are super stress, try to take a brisk walk everyday for at least 15 minutes, preferably an hr. And eating nutritionally. Nuts are great for stress. Having a hobby, or doing something fun at least once a week can help a lot, and make your environment as pleasant as possible where you live, neat and cozy.

Try to avoid things that will increase your stress, like alcohol and marijuana (both are depressants) Avoid negative people and negative thoughts. Stress can be good to alert us that something has to change. God might be nudging you a little to do some changes. I was super stressed 5 years ago and thought I was dying because of it, but I survived and have very little stress now. And my health is improving too. Our bodies can recover if we take care of ourselves.

Stress destroys B vitamins. A deficiency of B vitamins leads to either a heart attack or suicide. There are 17 B vitamins and they are poorly studied, so a lot of things might happen.

Yes it can.  It breaks down your immune system.  Once the damage is done, it's too late.

Hi Jewels.  You are certainly right about needing B's for stress.   The information you provide is worth-while.  I suffer from stress and I need a lot more than just these suppliments.   I take anything in the natural food category that has a lot of nutrients, so I am not only taking pills.  As much as I am for Vitamin B and all the immune system supporters, there is something to be said for the pain the nervous system can cause that B vitamins do not seem to touch.   There are chemical imbalances far beyond the reach of mere Vitamin B these days.   I just wish I could find one thing to ease the nerve pain that causes nervous stomach disorder.  That is a tricky one still for me.

Calcium. But if you take a lot of calcium you need some magnesium with it. They make pills with both, for convenience.
