Why isn’t a cement factory called a cemetery? I hate the English language, absolutely despise it.

    That would normally be called a cement plant. 
    Why does it bother you? Most factories/plants do not have their product as part of their name. 
    No autoreries (auto factory/plant), or leatheries (leather factory/plant). 

    We do have creameries, and bakeries. Pizzerias.

    Was sagen Sie?  Cement is nür ein  Englisch Wört.  Hier est ist Zement........  Hier est is nicht cemetery, es ist ein Friedhof.  Es ist so einfach.
