One night I forgot to charge my phone and it got down to like 4% battery charge. So from then on I made sure I plugged it in before bed. Fixed that problem!
One time I bought a pair of Calvins in black and didn't look good in them. So I switched back to white which offsets my tan. Problem fixed!
One summer I really needed my lawn mowed. I wasn't in the mood to do it. So I hired a cute lawn boy who takes his shirt off to do it for me. Fixed things again.
I guess I'm better at fixing things than I thought. And to think...
"Goat's" always telling me I'm for ornamental purposes only. Hmmpf!
I have fixed washers, dryers, freezers, and an oven. I used to work on cars. Electronics I learned in the Navy. Not any more. All of the new stuff is too complex. According to my stepdaughter, who manages a Sears outlet store, appliances are purposely made to only last about 5 years. That's why they sell those expensive warranties.
Thanks...but not really. On a sailors salary, you have to do that. My motto was: If I can't fix it, it can't be fixed. Hell, I even replaced pistons, rods and crankshaft on my motorcycle.
Good for you er... uh... May call you Bubba? It is kind of a red-neck thing after all, isn't it? I fix most things at home myself. I did 90% of my own roof. That saved me about $5,000!

I always say what is in my heart when I do it. That is key. So if tears come to the fore, then so be it. Not always. But sometimes I have been that sorry.
