Is it wrong to be proud?

I don't think so if you're proud about a particular achievement, keep it mainly to yourself, and do not think you're better than others.

No.  Sometimes pride makes people make poor decisions though.  But no, it isn't wrong to be proud.

Pride can put a damper on one's creative achievements but on the other hand may be inspiration to continue to achieve greater things.

That mostly depends on what you feel you have to be proud of :)

- The number of women you have forced to lick your feet. Not so right.

- The amount of medical supplies you have sent to plague-ridden areas. Pretty right.

- Bragging about either. Just plain stupid.

How about reducing a code file from 45k to 44.5k?
