Gender-wise guys are a whole lot more in love with their cars than gals. I KNOW. There are exceptions. But mostly? It's the guys who obsess about their cars. Why?

It's not only women who are in love with their shoes. You'd be surprised how many men are also in love with womens' shoes. Lol:)

I'm playing on Rosie's stereotype.  You'd be surprised how many guys aren't "in love" with their cars and just acknowledge them as a useful utility. 

Oh dear. It went right over my head. Having to explain a joke is embarrassing. Apologies to thee NP! :) When I said gender-wise I did not mean one's awareness of one's own gender. I mean "with respect to gender".  Society's expectations have nothing to do with it. It is based upon my observations and experiences with the guys I've known.  As far as guys not being gender-wise that makes no sense to me. They are guys. That is their gender. I doubt that they are unaware of it.  .If you mean not conforming to society's expectations of you I would not call that not being gender-wise. So once again semantics rears it ugly head. What you thought I meant I didn't and what you meant I didn't get. So  that's the way it is sometimes with words. We each have our own interpretation of them That is how arguments start. I guessed what you really meant, Rosie, I just saw the opportunity to make a joke based on the ambiguity of the sentence. I'm not embarrassed about having to explain the joke, it's better than arguing about what men are supposed to be like simply because of our gender. Lol:)

I don't have a car to be in love with, charface. The only Cars I like are the band who had a hit with "My Best Friend's Girl". Remember that?

They play it quite often on the classic rock station.  I like it. 

I still find it hard to believe it didn't get to number one. I was so sure it would when it first came out, I would have put money on it if I'd had any to spare. Good job I didn't! Lol:)

 There is a local couple with a bunch of McDonalds restaurants. The husband bought a house that is nearby just because the place has a large, new storage building for his toys. He also plays 'Ronald McDonald' at special events. Always clowning!
