I'd take Rick any day, ha!
    :)

Two songs for me came to mind immediately --

"High Hopes"   Panic at the Disco
the entire song and lead singer  - to me, everything about it, it all sounds as if they are panicked, out of breath, OMG! , sing it all fast!

    Yeah, ha!

And every song I've heard of theirs - - that singer sings like he's gasping. They set me on edge.

    anything by Camila Cabello

especially "Never Be the Same" -- especially that high-pitched annoying-to-me "Ni ca TEEEEN" gasping high notes thing she does around the 0:55 mark or so. Ug.

Oh my GOD. I LOVE HER.

Havana?  What is WRONG with that song????

That is my theme song for HAPPY.  Welby, I have never heard anything else by her.  Maybe she does suck.  Don't know. But this is a winner.

    Sorry! NO!!!!!!!!!
I hate her voice -- there I said it.
    :)
    :)

I don't like Havana - - never did. Then I found it was her singing. I wasn't surprised.

Listen up in that Never be the Same song I posted -- go to the 0:55 minute mark. Godawful to me. Horrible,

She, to me, tends to sing really breathy and gaspy and - - I don't know - - maybe I'm just full of sh**

She obviously is adored by many. Just not by me. Anything I've heard by her I've found annoying.

    I don't know.

    Ha!

I remember hearing that a lot when younger. It always made me laugh and smile as a boy. But over and over and over . . . yeah :)

I have NEVER laughed so HARD as that night in around 1965 on Laugh-In when he came on.

I never seen anything like that.  I just assumed he was kidding.  HE WAS NOT.

But at that time, I saw him playing that ukulele and singing in that falsetto voice and I was laughing so hard, tears were running down.  I know it would not even be funny now.... there is so much weirder than he was,  But back then?  I could not stop taking about that show and him.  I went to school the next day and made sure everyone heard about it.

I don' think I saw I on Laugh-In, but I did see him on some other show and I thought it was awful.  I didn't find it at all funny.

Don't get me wrong, Spunk. I don't want to leave this and have you think I think he is funny. That lasted when I was 15 in 1965 for a few months at the most.  Then he was boring.  Then we saw him too much.  Then you saw him.  By then he was even worse.

So.  I get it. I am not a fan of that guy.

I was 20 back in 1965 and perhaps if you had been that age, you would not have found it funny either, but I get you.

I saw a version of that on the Muppet Show that was amusing. But generally, yes. On a bagpipe or accordion.

All I can say Slarti, is we have BONDED. There IS no worse song than your selection.

That song made my skin crawl.  It sounded like a march.  And the lyrics were just brilliant.

99 bottles of beer on the wall

Very few people can listen to that the entire way through, without getting annoyed.
Play it on a constant loop?  It would be more effective than water-boarding.  lol

If you sang those words to the tune of NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP, by Rick Astley, I would hang myself before the day ended.

  • "Flowers" - by The DJ Quads.
Its a comically fun yet slightly annoying remix of Doris Day
singing the theme song for the movie "Bring Me No Flowers"

I love the DJ Quads and I love this stupid tune.
Which says a lot about my state of mind
Yes, I actually do listen to it in constant rotation at times.  Makes me smile.

    Enjoy...
