Not a fan of... Mr Brown, or the NFL?
You previously mentioned being a Chiefs fan.

I do not believe there should be consequences for allegations.

    That’s fair.
Is there a pattern of behavior here, that is detrimental to his team (whichever team that may be)?

The only obvious pattern I see in these cases is women falsely claiming sexual abuse ..... if one claims it and the guy has money and fame....more will claim.  I never believe the women unless the alleged act was like yesterday, in which case I'll read about it. Yesterday implies that the so-called victim alleges the assault was yesterday and immediately called the police..................did not wait for years or until someone else made an accusation.

You misunderstood me: I wasn’t focusing on your use of the word “yesterday”, it was on the word “like”.  So Valley-speak.

I‘m thinking that will come out in the investigation. Inquiring minds want to know.

There may yet be a team whose front office refuses to learn from past examples. (Um, hello Dan Snider?)

But yes, Colin Kaepernick and Ray Rice have company.

Not a fan of the sport - but from what I understand, nothing has been proven against him, unlike the Patriots' favourite son Tom Brady, who was found guilty (twice) over deflategate. Does the presumption of innocence only apply to white players?

As I understand it he was released after he sent threatenimg text messages to one of the accusers.  So of that there is definitive proof. (At least that the messages came from his phone) and on that note he is stupid. Text messages emails etc are admissable in court.

I am not a Brady fan but he was suspended for 4 games without pay, Patriots fined $1M and lost 2 draft picks over deflate gate.

    Nothing to do with race.

Brady AND the Patriots team merely got a slap on the wrist, that is all.  I don’t think it’s mainly because of skin color, nor do I think it’s mostly because of skin color, but I do know it stinks to high heaven.

I agree. I think they should have been stripped of their titles that year. And Division and Superbowl replayed.
