Can I safely have my Coccyx removed? My a$$bone hurts so bad. Do I need it?

You need it.  I broke mine 30 years ago. There is nothing to do about it.  I never stopped having trouble.  I can't sit on a hard floor....it kills.  Even sitting in a chair I do not lean back, my weight shifts forward so that it is mostly on my legs rather than my behind.   I was six months pregnant when I fell down some stairs in a restaurant in NYC....that is how I broke my tail bone.

You need it, otherwise when you laugh, your a$$ falls off.

Others have better answers than I can give.
I hope you feel better, though!

I hurt my coccyx some years ago falling off a moped, they said that there isn't much they can do for a broken coccyx.  They do sell special cushions, or you can use a bath towel curled up.

I don't think you want to go that far. I bruised mine playing football and I cried like a little B^&*h for months.

That's the guy, yeah! Thanks for helping.
I find both handsome and their names-with-faces went out the window.
