    Oh dear God, the list is long...  

    sweet potatoes of any kind in any dish
    pumpkin pie
    mince meat pie
    pecan pie
    dressing made with bread (we Southerners like cornbread dressing)
    gravy with eggs or liver in it
    turkey
    pineapple casserole
    cranberry sauce
    apple salad
    most ambrosia (I like if only orange, pineapple, cherries)
    rice pudding

    I'm with you on most of those except the turkey, sweet potatoes and ambrosia.  
    I had forgotten about the gravy with liver in it......barf and a half.

    This is why I don't celebrate Thanksgiving.  I eat raw.  No meat.  Fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds only and I drink Rejuvalac and Water.

    Don't eat peach seeds. Quite poisonous. Make sure you peel your potatoes before you eat them raw.

    This one has RUM in it.  Maybe that is the only saving ingredient. WHO EATS THIS?  WHO????

    Probably.
    I don't celebrate the standard public holidays.
    I tend to avoid most sweets and any prepackaged foods.

    But for Pesach, I make charoset - and wholemeal matzah balls in a vegetarian broth.
    Ari enjoys it because it reminds him of his roots and family celebrations when he was a boy.
