Sorry, dear Muggers, but I'd have to choose the Canadian. Though I don't always like their policies and direction, on balance I tend to agree with their political leanings more often than I do the USA's. Climate would be a disadvantage because I hate the cold - but the abundance of vast natural environments would fill me with bliss. Also, I tend to find Canadians abroad much less abrasive in their manners. Hate these generalisations. They're silly really.

I'd fight for Canada until they pried my nail gun from my cold dead hands. Because of the gun laws in Canada I don't have an assault rifle but I do have a portable nail gun that is powered by blank 22 shells it can drive a nail into a concrete wall from 5 feet away. Cheers!
Many military assault rifles are legal Canada. Only a few are specifically banned. AR-15, VZ-58, AR-10, FN-FAL. All legal there too under Restricted firearms.
