Critisim...same as now.
Pressure vessels of any size or shape. They scared the chit out of me! :-)
So THAT'S what happened!
Thank you for your honesty. :-)
I hated dark and still do as far as true darkness. I have night blindness anyway so when the lights are off I walk into walls. I have nightlights throughout the house.
I thought snakes were under my bed at night. I remember being awake and wetting the bed because I was too afraid to put my foot on the floor. My mother didn't have patience about being afraid of the dark. When my girls were little I would always ask if they wanted me to leave the light on and they would always so no. That puzzled me for a long time.
When I was ,oh four or so I joined a crowd in a neighbors yard everyone but me knew a big cement truck was going to deliver cement and as the truck backed closer and closer I ran in panic :P
For at lest a few weeks after I ran into my backyard whenever a truck passed.....I wasn't going to be hoodwinked again!
Least, not lest and I think I'm now afraid of commas! :O
I had a waterbed when I was a kid, I sometimes thought Jaws might be in my bed! LOL!
Awww
That I would fail to hit the light switch as I jumped from the third step up from the basement floor and the bears that lived there in the dark would get me...I had five older brothers.
"I had the fear that my planet was going to blow-up!"
When I went to bed at night and the lights were out I thought that my head turned into a monster's head and that I can only see it reflected on a mirror so I was afraid of mirrors only in the dark. yup >.<
Exactly!! lol silly I know.
:-)
Ahh
Sharks in the swimming pool. I always checked first before getting in.
The oddest one was that the clothes in the closet could come alive and get me. In fact, I had frequent nightmares about it, and would get nervous if a closet door was not properly closed.
Ha ha ha!
