    [In this context, the word “it” is more appropriate than the word “they”.  Had I used “clothes” (plural) instead of “clothing” (singular), then “they” would have been correct.]

    Keep us away from your spouse! She wants to run us through the dryer's 'HIGH HEAT'  function. That kills us and runs up the electric bill!
