I would appreciate a documentary or other broadcast that shows a successful, moral, healthy, clean and/or ethical celebrity’s life story

much more than the salacious, sordid, tawdry, smut-filled exposés of drug-addicted, alcoholic, sex scandal ridden, criminally convicted, down and out loser has-beens.  This is especially true of former child stars who are now adults and have had positive lives.

Who are some of your favorite celebs who have favorable histories as opposed to ugly ones?

I am also a fan of hers and of her music!  However, I’m not sure she fits the bill here due to the divorce, leaving her husband for another man, and the affair or alleged affair.

  • I think that if a divorce is the worst scandal one can drum up on a person, especially a celebrity since divorces are so common place even amongst non-celebrities, then that said individual's reputation has managed to remain nearly blemish free.  As of today all parties involved in the tangled relationships mentioned have found reconciliation.  So, I'm handing her a "get-out-of-jail-free" card for having a pure heart.  Though in the living of life and loving it got messy and lost for awhile it managed to make its way back home where she can find peace in the grace and forgiveness of a God who loves.

  • I've probably enjoyed her Christmas music more than any of her other offerings.

  • It's her only value. IMHO

By your criteria, the divorce being just one factor, there’s still also leaving her husband for another man and the affair or alleged affair.

Kate Bush was just cool through and through. Also the band “They Might Be Giants“ seems to have had pretty low key stable careers

An interesting take, I see you’ve focused on the couples who have been success stories. Thank you!

There aren't a whole lot of them these days.  The ones I've mentioned are married 20+ years which, in Hollywood, is a lifetime.

I was thinking about Woodward and Newman, too, when I came back and saw this question.

I really don't follow celebrity lives. I would think a documentary about that would be boring and I probably wouldn't watch it.

My favorite actress and favorite actor

Neither seem to  ever appear in any negative headline and they ALWAYS deliver the goods in any performance. Few, if any, even come close to their talent for me.

Veronica Cartwright  (the image is 'Lambert' from "Alien")

    Guy Pearce

There you go! Yes! She'd be good.
Made me think of Mother Theresa, too.

Jason Mraz comes to mind. I didn't research to be sure that he doesn't have a sordid past, but he was pretty young when he experienced success and everything I've ever known about him is very positive and he's known to be incredibly charitable. The message of his music is uplifting and inspiring.
