I wouldn't dress like that if I was born and bred in Florida and offered a million dollars to dress like that. Lol:)
We don't all have to like how each other dresses. I think most people are the best judge for their own dress. The others provide us with invaluable entertainment.
Very few things need to be the same for all of us.
I would readily agree, but I haven't really paid any attention to that kind of silliness since I was about 20. :)
Any dress which makes someone look attractive and pleasing, with only a slight hint of sexual allure, would be an appropriate dress code for that person at that age.
That's what society is based on, from the beginning of our existence.as.a.social organism. Come on man.
Everybody knows that,

Ill be the judge of that!

A lot of people are saying that's not true. You're just a part of the social contract as everybody else. Even if you're from Wales.
Everybody knows that.

Some do or don't do both / either. But I have found that many I know place a high value on the 'unwritten social contract' stuff and it seems more frustrating than rewarding for them.
Yup. Your own judge. :-)
What a ridiculous little statement for anybody to say they are.not governed by the.unspoken rules of society. Everything from the.hair we style to the avatar we show here is dictated by those social contracts. I'd like to see.how many of these people that say they are NOT controlled by those, get up from bed and go straight.to.work. Especially the women. With their hair and war paint.
Everybody knows that.

Each will have to decide for themselves. Important for me, and where I believe in a sort of unwritten social contract will be how we interact with each other as human beings. I'm aware there will be different viewpoints on this too.
I know a few who won't care, and who will dress up and go as they feel like themselves. They do in fact look very beautiful. Somehow their eyes is much more framed and their smiles too. It's the natural beauty you will see in those eyes and smiles.
If that were true mankind wouldn't remain in a constant state of selfdestruction.
I get that people believe this to underpin "polite-society," but that seems more than a tad idealistic to me. Society isn't all that great to one another and never has been.
I think we serve ourselves and others best when we voice our expections and clearly define our terms for interaction rather than attempting to read the minds of others or worse, expecting them to read ours and then suffer the constant disappointment that inevitably results from our mutual inability to perform such a feat.
Not to mention, everyone has their own definition of "polite" and "proper," attempting to craft a set of acceptable personal choices out of such a subjective mutual perception seems inherently flawed and destined to fail on its face. But to have this list of expections (to which no one is entitled fulfillment, BTW) be completely unspoken and undefined... That sounds like slow insanity to me.
I don't mean that as an insult to subscribers, but literally. Even attempting to compute that in my head on a daily would slowly drive me crazy.
When the question is framed in terms of self-application it doesn't sound so bad, but with self-application comes the unspoken expectation that others abide in kind. That's what a contract is, an agreement among parties, not a single agent.
How can one decide, as a standard, it is improper for them to wear a certain sort of clothing fit for their age group (or behave a certain way) without noticing those who don't in contrast?
Know what I mean? It always sounds better and more appealing as an idea than it looks (or feels) in practice. Jmo
I sometimes wear my baseball cap backwards. It's easier on my head actually. The back of the hat actually fits better, while the front is uncomfortable for long periods because it conforms to the shape of the brim rather than the shape of my head. I can always just tell people I'm 24 I suppose, but then I'll need to wear glasses to hide the wrinkles I'm noticing around my eyes.
Actually, some people need to do this because of the activity they're doing. I'll use a practical example; photographers. They have to turn it around because of the equipment interfering with the brim.
