I heard today that 85% of Democrats are happy with the choices that already exist. If that's the case, then I think Bloomberg will have a tough time getting elected although I do feel that among Biden, Warren and Sanders, he would be the most qualified.
What Democrats think is one thing, but the nominee obviously needs to appeal enough to others in order to get elected. Winners such as Trump, Obama, Bush 43, and Bill Clinton got it. Losers such as Hillary Clinton and Romney didn't get it, and I am not at all sure that Sanders and Warren get it.
Well, if that's the criteria, then I can't see the Midwest and the South voting for a Jew for president. That is not the statement of a bigot statement, just the truth. And, for the record, I am Jewish.
You know, I'm all in favor of helping out the middle class and those who are not able to care for themselves properly, but I'll be damned if I want to pay for college or medical care for those who earn more than enough to take care of themselves. I don't begrudge people who have made successes of themselves and are worth millions, but I don't want to subsidize them when it comes time to pay taxes. There is something wrong when some gazillionaire pays an effective tax rate of 15% and I pay 25%. There's something wrong when my Social Security gets taxed at 85% because I'm still working. There's something wrong when Social Security caps out for some wealthy person but rarely caps out for the average working person. In all the 55 years I've worked full-time, there was only one year that I maxed out for Social Security. One out of 55 years of working!
Sanders has no chance because he is a socialist who wants to raise taxes on the middle class etc. Nothing to do with his secular Jewishness. Bloomberg will not win because of his stance on gun control and his banning of large sodas in NYC. Nothing to do with his Jewishness.
Policy. I would vote for Ben Shapiro all day long. Nothing to do with Jewish or not policy. Policy that is the point of it all.
No. Too little and no interest among anyone that votes. No one is going to grass roots support this guy. He stands for big business. We are tired of this nonsense. He thinks he is going to usurp Joe Biden, but what he really needs to do is try and Usurp Beta O'Rourke, who is in a better position to win the Presidency, even though he quit the race, over such a person of so much non-interest as THIS JERK.
It would be hard to pick this jerk over Trump. It would be sticking in my craw. He is sane, but he is dangerous to most of us. He will hold back any progress in favor of the lying Senate and his rich buddies. Screw him.

Billionaires are control freaks who believe they are qualified to run the US gov because they are rich and there are people who are stupid enough to believe that because these people are so successful, they will have the best interests of the general population in their scope. HAH! The idea that Bloomberg is fearful of Sanders & Warren is proof of his self-serving agenda prevalent among all of the top-tier wealth holders.
I do NOT agree that Sanders and Warren are too left. They are what we USED to call democrats. Sanders would have won the last primary had Clinton's finger's not been on the DNC scale to tip it in her favour.

Yes, I agree with your summation of the aforementioned candidates chances, but come on. Bloomburg doesn't stand a chance either. He tried to ban the "Big Gulp" for God's sake. I can't get on board with that.

I'd not be at all surprised if somebody in the Trump camp put "little Michael" up to it. Not His Royal Orangeness himself, he's not that smart, but one of his cabal. Why? Bloomberg has absolutely no chance in the Dem primaries, none at all. Nobody wants him bad enough. But if he's defeated but gets sufficient support to give him momentum, he could well run as an independent - and that's a spoiler, he'll split the antidon vote. Playing right into Drumpf's tiny orange hands.
