    Ya I'm coo coo for Christmas. I just about have all my inside decoration up - going to start my outside decorating next week. Just about got my gift shopping done too. Still have to get Christmas goodies but I leave that till the second week in December.   Cheers and happy weekend!

    So you're one of those people that makes retail store and website owners' (even the non-Christian ones) favorite song "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." It's amazing how many folks seemingly lose their minds, to say nothing of any spending restraint, in the runup to that consumerist holiday. What really blows my mind is automobile advertising, the idea that someone would go into major debt, perhaps without spousal consent, to surprise a husband or wife with a new car for Christmas. It's almost as if spending somehow equates to spirituality.
