Dad's family was in California. My grandmother was 4 years old and living in San Leandro, CA. My grandfather was 7 and living in Los Angeles (as far as I know), though he moved around a lot because of his parents' tumultuous relationship.
My mom's family was in Japan. My maternal grandparents grew up in the same area of Chubu, Japan and knew each other during their childhood. My grandfather's older brother (who would've been 17 in 1940--my grandfather was 9 years younger) would go on to fight in WWII.
My mother's family was in Halifax, Virginia and my dad's family was living in Baltimore, Maryland.

I don't know.....I weren't even born for forty years ,so they tended not to tell me much until I was....then all they ever did was tell me off....God knows what they bothered as I was born with a full head of blonde hair... Surly that should have wised them up a bit....:(
I was a special needs baby they always told me........no matter what I saw I wanted....they learned quickly .....had to as I would never shut up other wise..... My parents and nearly back to normal now gawd b,ess um..they will be fully off all their antidepressants soon as well I hear....hehe
Your honor, at the time in question my dad was living in northern california with his dad, mom, and baby brother. His grandparents were deceased. My mom, along with her mom, dad and baby sister were living down on the farm in Mud Lick Kentucky (most of her father's relatives lived in Mud Lick or Flippen Kn.). My mom's widowed grandmother and one aunt lived in the town I'm in now, and her other aunt lived in Vallejo Ca.
My father was 11 and growing up in Plymouth, PA (across the river from Wilkes Barre). My mother was 8 and growing up in Schenectady, NY. My brother and I were (obviously) not yet born.
My parents were not born yet. Both Grandmothers were living in my S. Illinois. My paternal Grandfather was living in N. Illinois. My maternal Grandfather was in the army I do not know where he was stationed at the time.

Oh, I see. Your past finally caught up with you and they've sent you upriver. Fine, I'll see you in three to five (I'd subtract time off for good behavior, but we both know that's an illusion).
Both grandmothers were in Sydney. Maternal grandfather was also there, in essential services (Commonwealth Drug labs, developing antibiotics which were a revolutionary way to treat infections at the time), other grandfather stationed in Darwin with a RAAF anti-aircraft squadron. He was there when the Japanese bombed the city.
