I have a chain saw and a woods full of dead ash trees that died from the efforts of the Emerald Ash Borer insect. This bug came over from Asia inside wooden pallets and has killed off most of the ash trees in the Great Lakes region. The good news is that the tree is very prolific and I have many baby ash trees coming up. Hopefully, the ash borers will die out from eating all the mature trees and won't eat the baby trees because they taste yucky.
