I'm heading 1 mile up the road to my sisters. Making It there will be tricky as this entire area will be a block of ice by morning (6+" of snow, rained down to 3" of slush with temps dropping to the mid 20's tonight).
Nice question. Some traditional holiday that some past president made up for us to give thanks that the native Americans didn't slaughter the English immigrants who came here. It's all made up...like all other holidays. Like your silly bank holidays.

Yep. Look at all of those folks who just had to fly or drive long distances be be with Grandma and uncle Bob. Line ups in airplane terminals or down in highway ditches. Had it been snowing like that here I would not have driven those 15 miles. We had a great time.

Drove down to Pennsylvania to my sister's house on Wednesday and now I'm back. Didn't hit too much traffic in either direction, which was great. Now I have the rest of the weekend and Monday before I go back to work. Life is good.
