I was looking through Category questions yesterday and came across the question and thought it fun to answer, too.   :)

Christmas in July is a thing in Australia. That's when you can enjoy the traditional American or European Christmas fare - it's too hot down here to do that in December.

The expression itself is known around 'my' part of USA but no one does anything.
It's really hot in July.
But it'd be fun to actually to have more-cold weather in July. I'm more of a cold-ish weather fan.

I answered the other day just for fun, since it's nowhere near Christmas.  :)
