The actors got "old" (some didn't want to do it anymore) and were replaced.  So they rehashed old plots with the new characters. (spin-offs weren't that grand either)

    GAME OF THRONES.

One of the best series ever created until they made the last season.  OH MY GOD.  HOW DISAPPOINTING.  It looked like they got bored and just wrote the end in one day.  HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE   I would have NEVER watched  any of it if I thought they would do that.  And I'm sure many people agree with me.  Most people freaked out at that lame attempt.

AND THEY ALL DIED AND THOSE THAT LIVED ... we are not sure.  THE END. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at December 25, 2019 8:31 PM MST

  • Finally realizing that no matter how many times I jump off the roof with a cape on I don't seem to be able to fly.  I'm thinking maybe these super hero shows and movies might not be real and also my insurance is now refusing to pay for my repeated emergency room visits.

True, but the Bishop and Casey characters replacing Ziva and Abbey are horrid.  Less Ducky (I understand he's in his mid-80s) and no Tony have also made it less interesting.  They killed off Mike Franks, they killed off his and Fornell's ex-wife, Vance and Fornell almost never appear, and I'm still trying to figure out why they need Jack the psychologist.  Now, I look forward more to NCIS Los Angeles than ever before.

Quite simply - - the show got canceled in less than one season.

    From 1995 -- "American Gothic"

From what I've read, decades later it's now very highly regarded. I knew it all along. :)

I believe there is another series now called "American Gothic" - I am not talking about the current/more recent show with that title.

"The Prisoner" was supposed to be fiction.

Instead, with the modern-day surveillance state and an increasingly dumbed-down, entertainment-addicted and easily-manipulated tribalistic population, it has become all too real.
