    Yes. Different types of love for different types of relationships. Life is awfully dry without it.

    Your question took my breath away -- I knew immediately you were referring to Jones.


    I've seen him in concert three times. Talked with him briefly after the third concert.



    I could argue that the lyrics to this song are the most honest song lyrics about "love" -- but - - I'm biased toward Howard. He does no wrong.

    I doubt that any human being loves just anybody.

    Maybe some exceptional individuals such as the Buddha would be able to -
    but if so it would be a special kind of love:
    impersonal, compassionate, empathic, and containing within it the occasional necessity for tough love.

    Most of us can only ever love a few people
    because to love well takes time, energy and commitment.
    We are limited by time and place so we must choose who we love.
