    My grubby, sticky, greedy paws somehow found their way into my wife’s purse, but you can’t tell her because she’s asleep. Keep down the noise; I have to make a quick phone call to my tilde bookie.

    This might sound like bragging but yesterday we got a late Christmas card from the Yukon - it was a $6 card so I felt pretty special and pretty cheep because the Christmas cards I send cost 15 cents each. Cheers and happy first weekend of the New Year!

    Don't feel bad.  I contribute to a lot of military charities, most all of which send blank Christmas cards for me to send.  Usually, I buy cards, but I had about 50 of them and decided to be really cheap and send those out this year.
