not sure why but i think its so rude and dangerous too
Annoying. :-/
Don't you know? You'll get to where you're going THAT much faster!
Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways ???
I reckon.. :)
The question of the ages..... :)
Yes, and a danger to the pedestrians.
Very much.
Hello K:
The only time I've done that is when I couldn't stop. It's illegal to back up, so I just stay there.. Say, aren't you that good looking chick who gave me the finger for blocking her??

When there is a parade so thick with people and cars that you cannot SEE the crosswalk. I got a ticket for that years ago. There was an insane parade downtown and I had just moved here. There was no reason for me to get a ticket for that but the cop wouldn't see reason.
That's why Florida has a "Stand your ground Law". Protection from the crazies !
'Why do some drivers think . . .'
Why, my dear Karen, that's the last thing such drivers would do.
I don't mind that as long as they don't mind my footprints on their hood and windshield, especially if I'm wearing shoes with golf or football spkes.
Because most drivers are selfish, ignorant pigs who wouldn't care a fig if they killed 599 pedestrians.
Nice one, Dude! How could you call yourself "Clueless" and then post such pearls of wisdom? Lol:)
Lol:)
Thank you Nanker.
But it is true, is it not, that what used to be called 'roadcraft' is a concept that seems to have slipped into the abyss. Road positioning preparatory to making a turn - who cares. Using your horn to warn other road users of your presence (especially those out of sight around a sharp corner or beyond a hump-back bridge, etc.) - nah horns are for showing your selfish displeasure. Effecting your turn so as not to cut across the other driver's side of the road - what's the point, they should stay out of my way. Keeping a proper distance between you and the car ahead - what for?
My driving instructor was hard on improper driving technique - of mine - and of other drivers. He kept up a more of less running commentary. He was funny with it too. One of his was: '. . . and a Morris '1100' ably demonstrates how NOT to take a corner'.
Why do some pedestrians just think they ALWAYS have the right away?
