    I think that's slightly unfair to The Doors. Yes, they eventually devolved into the description you provided. But before the rock'n'roll lifestyle made them a self-caricature, they created some influential music.

    Because of the fairly unrelenting media coverage of Ms. Eilish, I have added her to my list of People About Whom I Wish to Know As Little As Possible.

    This is not a knock on her. I hope she does well and makes her fans very happy with her music.

    But like Taylor Swift and British Royal Family, I have tired of seeing headlines about her.

    I get it.  I found her on my own.  I was shocked she was popular.  So, I get it.


    I am just starting to even acknowledge Taylor Swift.  I still don't like her, but I can see she knows what she is doing.  

    But I love Billie.  I get her.
