  • Donald Jr is as bad as his father. The racist doesn't fall far from the burning cross. Sorry for being anecdotal, but I can't even...

Even more sickening than the comments they make are the excuses they follow-up with trying to explain away their actions.

This guy and his ilk may very well be president and first family. Are we terrified yet?

Does this mean that no family member of hillary has ever used a metaphor? That must be the case or the media would not think the twitter of a family member is as important as the mishandling of classified information or stealing nominations or lying constantly or corruption.

  • It's just a metaphor.  Nothing to get offended over.  Sit tight and relax.  One of the Trumps will soon say something that actually is worthy of being offended by.

    Hello RR:

Yeah..  It WAS a metaphor.  But, it was such a BAD metaphor, it gave me the opportunity to make him look like an idiot - so that's what I did..

  • Not really. He is an idiot, so anything he says people will put in that category.  This statement really isn't that bad at all and even has a ring of truth to it.  This is one case of making mountains out of molehills.

He's right.  He understands the power of analogy whereas some...prefer to dry hump. :-)

"Even more sickening than the comments they make are the excuses they follow-up with trying to explain away their actions."

Correct. If I were the Trumps or a member of their campaign I wouldn't give the opposition the courtesy of any reply at all.  To respond to such absurdity (feigned outrage at a comparison of skittles to terrorists) is to lend credence to absurdity.

...OK, OK, there IS one correct response: "Take your supercilious indignation and shove it up your..." well...:-)

Isn't it amazing how concretistic/literal liberals get when pretending they're 'outraged' at the simile du jour? :-)

...Except that you failed miserably.  Most people understood the analogy.  Most people NOT liberal, that is.

    Donald Trump's "analogy" translated:

    "F***ING HADJIS! BE AFRAID!"

And the pope wears funny hats...

And the great grizzly bear wipes his butt with bunny wabbits...

And the sun rises in the east...

  • Those two analogies aren't even remotely similar.

You are right there is one correct response.

The response is, "Take your BIGOTED F***TARDERY and shove it!"

Substitute any other racial/ethnic/religious/cultural group for F***ING HADJI in Trump's "metaphor" (e.g. Jews), and its implications would become blindingly obvious.

But, because being a Bigoted F***tard towards F***ING HADJIS has become acceptable in America, the general populace is not calling out this grossness for what it is.

@RR -- No, they are indentical.

If even one Jew/F***ING HADJI is dangerous, then we must discriminate against all of them.

The language is different, the semantic content is the same.

"The response is, "Take your BIGOTED F***TARDERY and shove it!""

And who is Trump (assuming, somewhat dangerously, that you're talking about him :-)) being bigoted against.  Terrorists?  OH HORRORS!  ROFL!

"Substitute any other racial/ethnic/religious/cultural group for F***ING HADJI in Trump's 'metaphor' (e.g. Jews), and its implications would become blindingly obvious."

Except that Jews, etc. aren't blowing people up, beheading people, burning them alive, mutilating women, tossing gays off buildings...    You DO understand how metaphors are constructed, right?

"But, because being a Bigoted F***tard towards F***ING HADJIS has become acceptable in America, the general populace is not calling out this grossness for what it is."

Awwwww!  Did somebody poop in your pity pot today, SKOS?  There there... :-)
