For example, if you are discussing politics, and a person responds with an inflammatory remark, and another person responds with that person, are you going to back up either of the respondents, or are you going to incite further micro-aggressions with your comment? If it's to back up somebody's point of view, by all means, that is what the internet was originally implemented for; if it's to incite anger and aggression from somebody because you dislike what they had to say, it would probably be best if you avoided that troll. Telling trolls to go back to their bridge rarely elicits the response you are looking for. less

Everybody in the office uses mine because it's the only one to do inventory on, and it's also the only computer that does what my job entails, so my friend will use my facebook profile, she'll answer questions for gamefaqs, and post various things about political arguments she got into with people on the internet, in my name. While have never seen her say "I'm using a friend's computer" or anything like that, it does happen, and some people are sincere about it. Just this lady's two cents. less

Large groups of like-minded individuals tend to think and act similarly enough that mob mentalities begin to form. Even churches have developed offshoot branches of their faiths because of mob mentality. While all this is supposed to be about becoming a better person, it almost never happens because one thing most people forget about religion is that most of them also tell you about certain things that God/Allah/whatever-deity-you-hold-holy hates. This leads to actions by groups of people who may not have acted against certain groups or causes to go against their personal beliefs.Politics is usually about power; power to do something, power to stop others from doing things, or power to make things change. While, in most situations, this leads to corruption, in some cases it causes people to become better because, the one thing people forget, people will do whatever is in their nature. Most ... less

I know from my endocrinologist that there are minor differences between men and women's vitamin supplements, but that there can be harmful amounts of certain things for the opposite sex if taken too often. I'm mostly looking for suggestions on what I could take or if this would be okay for me.
