I recognize that not everyone likes them, and to respect that viewpoint, I will refrain from them for the next month. I would much rather do without them than to jeopardize my years-long friendship that I have had with the member who has spoken out against them. She made the first move in calling a cease-fire on a spat that has spanned several days (at least), and to honor her character-driven move, I offer this as my token of cessation of hostilities.
