They could have done other things, had other careers and not have had the rug pulled out from under them by a bigot who is driven by the extreme religious right. Executives get "golden parachutes" when they leave a company. Often it is by choice. If successful these military folks will have no choice at all. That is not the way we should be treating those who have served our country. You don't just toss them out on the trash heap because a bunch of bigots want then to go. That is not the American way.
