The following is excerpted from his feature on the site he founded and runs:A widely held tenet of the current conventional wisdom is that while President Trump might not be popular overall, he has a high floor on his support. Trump’s sizable and enthusiastic base — perhaps 35 to 40 percent of the country — won’t abandon him any time soon, the theory goes, and they don’t necessarily care about some of the controversies that the “mainstream media” treats as game-changing developments.
It’s an entirely reasonable theory. We live in a highly partisan epoch, and voters are usually loyal to politicians from their party. Trump endured a lot of turbulence in the general election but stuck it out to win the Electoral College. The media doesn’t always gues... less

Trump apparently promised the Pope that he would read it. DO you believe this happened? And do you believe that Trump can or will read it? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-40023725Oh and one more question... lol is this what they call fake news?

Who would run the country and who would be in charge of the nuclear codes? It would take a while to have a new election so would they just put Obama back in until it could be sorted out? Cheers!

Is there anything that can be done to stem the rise in attacks? Why is it that Europe seems to have more terror attacks than the United States?
I think their chances of getting rescued would be pretty slim because they don't appreciate science so none of them could build a radio out of coconuts. Cheers!
Or does he have to stay with Pence? I started wondering that when I was watching SNL and heard Tom Hanks and Johnston threw their hats into the ring. Cheers!

I read today, that,' Reversing the hostile rhetoric of his election campaign, Mr Trump described Saudi Arabia, which he accused last year of responsibility for the events of 9/11, as a “magnificent kingdom” and said that Islam was “one of the world’s great faiths”.' And over the weekend I read from a friend that Trump had tweeted in the past about how dreadful it was that Michelle Obama didn't wear a scarf when they visited a muslim country.. yet Melania didn't wear a scarf on their current visit.. and then there were the many times Trump openly criticised Obama for the number of holidays he took and the number of golfing sessions he enjoyed, yet we see Trump playing golf practically every weekend... Oh and then there was the time when he said UK would get a fast deal and that it would be *great*.. then he said UK would be back of the queue, (not that we care lol) and the time he criticised Kate Mi... less

In those days, it was funded by Moscow gold, in a manner so secretive that many high up in the party didn't know about it. Today, it calls itself the organ of the Labour Party. It claims to be funded as a co-operative, by its readers. In an age when mainstream newspapers are fighting for survival, (some have gone to the wall already), I find it hard to believe that the Morning Star is surviving funded by the few people who read it. So, the question is, who's funny money is behind the Morning Star today?Note 1. I don't expect anyone to be able to tell me.Note 2. There were two communist parties. The organ of the other, the Communist Party of Great Britain, was Marxism Today. less
