    I'm not a lover of it.  Greek snapper is good. Fried grouper throats used to be a favorite but I haven't seen that on a menu in years.   I love fresh Gulf shrimp cooked any way.  I like scallops....real ones.  I will eat canned albacore tuna a couple times per year.  That's pretty much it.  Oh...salmon croquettes....I like them but like all fish, someone else has to do the prep and cooking.

    I do like sea food and I ate a lot of perch when I lived in southern Ontario. My favorite lake food was Northern pike from Manitoba - lots of bones but fine tasting. Cheers!

    Perch is a big deal here in Northern Ohio. (Most of them come from Canada.) It is good, but I stay away from fried food.

    Only if it has claws or fins. I'm allergic to mollusks. Anchovies you can keep, prawns are bait. All other fish and crustaceans, I'm in.

    I have, but not for me. My better half likes prawns.

    Paul Hogan used the word "shrimp" to do an ad for Americans. Down here, they're called prawns.

    I know. I love prawns. My sister lives on the Gulf Coast in Florida and gets them off the boat.

    What about my favorite, Walleye?  The fillet is thick and never 'fishy' like so many lake fish.  Yellow perch is good, but the fillet is rather thin and a bit 'fishy' tasting. Well, I guess that's why Port Clinton has their annual 'Walleye Festival'.

    Walleye is excellent. It is thick enough to be broiled. VERY expensive, though. The run up the Maumee is about six weeks away.

    I will only eat shrimp. I hate every other type of seafood. I wish I liked it, but I just can’t get my palate around it.

  • I love shrimp, scallops and Orange Roughy.  Fresh seafood is wonderful if you can find it.

    Orange roughy is a made up name so folks would buy it. The actual name of the fish is slime head.
