No ,he died while making Captain Yellowbeard with the Monty Pytho crew ... I wasn't born then and he died in 1982 in Mexico ....he was 48 and died half way through the film...he was a real funny guy though...brilliant in Young Frankensteine....lol

No kidding? That's not my fave from the Monty Python crew, but I loved it all the same. I'm glad you brought up Young Frankenstein. That is probably one of my absolute favorite comedies. The film is a masterpiece in every way with so many good quotes. Igor is the best! LOL

Everything he did in that film was hysterical

Abby Normal was mine....all six kids were sitting with our parents watching it together....my dad who is huge roared so loud with instant laughter that we all nearly died from fright...
The guy that played Frank in that film and the tv series Who Loves Raymond was great to I thought...
Madaline Carr was amazing too and such a natural funny person...such a shame we can only visit them in the wonderful films they make....

You forgot Chloris Leachman as  frau Blucher. OMG! LMAO

Every time she was on screen, it was pure magic and I could not stop laughing.

Everyone in this movie was outstanding in their parts and each played off of each other to perfection. Peter Boyle as the monster killed it.

*sigh* it is a shame, yet I am grateful that we will always have films and cinema to enjoy. That is how these amazing people will live forever.   Thank you for this wonderful conversation and reminiscing about this great movie, Young Frankenstein!  Since Twinkle Dink has never seen this film, I am hungering for viewing it with him. Popcorn and laughter is what we need right now.

How very very true....Those American old films were the best ever..now the actors are just plain stupid and the films unwatchable....why they all swear so much makes me feel sick...I'm not against the odd swear word of quite a few even.....it has to be in the right context and not just to fill seats in cinemas ...

  • No doubt we will all die.  Of this I am also as certain as you are.  “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”  Ecclesiastes 12:7 The Holy Bible.  I do have one question though.  Just one.  No two.  Maybe three.

"What do you plan to do, where do you plan to go, whom do you plan to spend your time beyond time with, after you die?"

I have spent my heart building a place where dreams reside and decorating it with the many facets of you.  It was never meant to be merely an occasional place but rather the shelter of our souls for all eternity.   Hold tight to my hand.  Follow me there.  Let my smiling face be the last thing you see when darkness softly closes your eyes and the first thing that you see when the light of Heaven opens them once again.  This too is my wish that I may gaze upon you.

I tell you this...there is no end Jon...only beginnings.

    Come with me.

I want to believe that where ever I go, I do not wish to enter into the unknown alone...without you.
My heart and soul will always be with you. It matters not who goes first or if we go together.
From that moment when we touched each other's lives, a spark kindled the flame called "us."
A part of me will always be you, and a part of you will always be me. We will remain connected in life and then forevermore in what lies beyond.
I know this to be true because our love is honest and true...that can never perish.

Nanoose, no one in Heaven has an anus so there will be no worries there.
Get ready, because all those dogs are waiting to give you some good licks and lovings!
