Call my daughter to see if she is OK. (she's a nurse). Go visit her her and the grandkids.

We’ve been FaceTiming our kids and grandkids, not nearly the same as visiting, but better than texting.

See my mother.  She's in assisted living and we can't see her except through the glass.  I'm going up this weekend to take her supplies and surprises.  The facility disinfects it all and gives it to her.  Thank God, they've had no infections in there.  No visitors and the workers go through a real process before they can enter the building each shift.  What a blessing those caring people are!

If there is any solace there, at least it seems she is in a safe place, amongst caring people.

Yes, absolutely.  They are wonderful.  And family owned, believe it or not.  A blessing they are.

I really don't know, other than to convince myself that it's safe to leave my house.

It's going to really take a lot of effort.

It’s gonna be like The Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy stepped out of the crashed house into technicolor.

Technically, I leave the house to walk the dogs. I'm fine with being outdoors, it feels safe to me. The idea of going to a store, into someone else's home, etc. does not feel safe. I'm very lucky that I don't have to.

Now that is what I was thinking, too. Hit the clubhouse and buy my homies a round.

    1) Cheer, and dance about with joy.
    2) Hug everyone.

Careful!  That’s the same mistake I made almost every time after the last few scares were lifted. Excuse me, I have to go buy a bunch of birthday gifts.

     Zika.
      Bird flu.

The Great Sandwich Famine (ok, that one I made up myself).

      Swine flu.

    The Asian flu.
