Have your stores used any creative ways to stop hoarding?

We went to grocery store today. There was 1 package of 6 pack of megaroll Quilted Northern tp.
We had just 4 rolls left a home ao decided to get it. When we came back around ...there was 1 package back on the shelf. Exact same spot exact same product.

I thought this was cleaver. :)

I went to Walmart today. Everything was well stocked except T.P.  The T.P. aisle was full of Easter toys. That makes sense.

That was pretty clever. :)  I have been using what my store calls Insta-Cart. I order and pay for what I need Online and they deliver it to my door. So I'm not sure how they are dealing with the hoarding situation. Good question.

I do not think any of our stores are delivering. We can order online for pick up.

-- the stores I've been at simply put up signs saying "Limit 2" or "Limit 1."

    Works for me.
    :)

This one has the sign limit 1 as well.
I do not know if they got tired of arguing with customers or what.

Oh, yeah - - I hadn't thought of people ignoring the signs.
    Wow.
If there were a sign saying a limit, I'd adhere to it. I'd feel too guilty. I even found myself a couple of weeks ago, explaining myself to another customer (even though she didn't ask) tellling her that I was buying some things not just for me, but for another person, which was the truth. :)

Yeah, I failed to mention in my answer that I agree with you -- I like the clever approach that store did where you shopped.

       I’ve got you covered!

(Grab an 8-roll pack of paper towels for me while you’re at it!  That stuff goes for $5 a roll out on the streets!)

I haven’t been in a large store in at least two weeks so I have no idea. I‘ll report back in a month Or year  when I finally leave the house.

I wonder when enough people get it if they will be able to start going out and go to work again. It feels like if everyone just stays home that’s great, but then when they let us all out again people are going to get it eventually anyway. I really don’t know what to think any more and I’m starting to lose my mind a bit more than I expected Lol. Cases spiked a lot in my area over the weekend  so I don’t see any return to normal life anytime soon.

I know there is talk of a new test that determines if you have virus antibodies (so you had it and got over it) and if so then allowing those people to go back to normal work.

Sorry to hear your area spiked. That has to be nerve wrecking.   My county is still just at 2 cases. We are on a stay at home order.

We doubled over the weekend, yeah kind of nerve wracking. I’ve been working from home and will continue to do so but I have to go into the office for a few hours tommorow and settle up some things for my employer for reasons. Of course I have to leave the house after hearing of the spike lol.
