    Yup!

    That one, actually.

    And the Put-in-Bay one.
    And a Cedar Point one.

Probably others at some point, too.
    :)

Yup -- sometimes as a child -- visiting family in Sandusky. There was a ferry  -- obviously not too long of a ride but still fun to me.

Yes, I went on the ferry across the Mersey (from Birkenhead to Liverpool) in 1991.

  • Yes, a few of them. Most recently a ferry in the SF Bay.

That is one of them. When I was a kid, I rode the Miller Line out to Kelley's. However, it was rough seas and people were puking. Gross!

Yes, but I’m in my own defense, I had not slept for a day and a half, I was extremely drunk, and it was a foreign country. Besides, I thought you agreed you’d never mention it again . . .

. . . wait, you said “ferry”?   Doh!  Forget everything I just told you, pretend I didn’t say any of it, pretend you didn’t hear any of it.

I've used car-ferries many times, from the chain-ferry across the entrance to Poole Harbour, to North Sea crossings between Northern England and Norway. In between, ferries across the Irish Sea and the English Channel.

(Sadly there are now no ferries other than special commercial-vehicle ones, between the British Isles and any Scandinavian country. The geographically nearest ferry port is in Holland, giving a drive via Germany to Denmark; then to go further, either the bridge to Sweden or ferries to Norway or Sweden.)
