What are you doing, to cheer yourself up in this current situation? Have you bought anything special as a treat?

We need treats I think! The news is too depression, the situation too worrying..  I bought some coconut syrup for my coffee...  Anyone bought anything nice for themselves?

    I bought my Spring and Summer  flower seeds yesturday  -  it cheers me up thinking how nice my yard will look in a couple  of months. Cheers!

    I made a double batch of chocolate chip cookies just the other day.  Don and I have mowed through them like there would never be another chocolate chip cookie, EVER!!
    I did save 6 for mom and dad and 6 for my sister and brother-in-law.  The rest?  Gone in 3 days! 
    I hear ya!

    P.S. I've yet to send those cookies... They are teasingly calling us at the door, waiting to go to the post office....

    Like Gilbert Von Sizzly, I too went to the liquor store.  It's not really a treat, per say, but rather a "making sure" we don't and won't run out sort of thing.
    I bought 4 gallons of rum, 6 gallons of Baileys, 3 cases of 30-pack Natural Ice beer, 3 boxes of Cab and 3 boxes of Chardonney. 
    Please remember.  I'm buying for two.

    I also bought, for treats:  apple fritters, poppyseed muffins, carrot cake muffins, chocolate doughnuts, cheese pasteries.
    The bakery was having a sale.  Can you tell?
    I also bought batteries which is a treat.  Nooooo.  My mind went there too ;). Don is more than capable ;) of putting them to use in his drone.  I thought it would be fun to learn how to use it. :) :)
