"Back in Baby's Arms"    Patsy Cline

I admit I looked up songs by Patsy Cline to see if one would fit -- she is, hands down, my Number One favorite singer. Like no one else, she melts me with her voice.

EDIT: The Pointer Sisters are way up there on my list, too - - very close to Patsy. This song is not one of my very favorites of theirs but anything by them is a favorite, if that makes sense. I like them best when there were four of them together in the group but they're always great.

    Similar title is a coincidence.

"Back in My Arms"   The Pointer Sisters

Ok, you helped me remember another song that fits this question, and even better, it’s by the Pointer Sisters, 1981.

    “Slow Hand”

    Nice!

I hadn't heard this song before. I don't even know if I know of Phyllis Nelson - - what a wonderful voice!
    :)

(I even like that turtleneck she's wearing there, ha!)

Phyllis Nelson was a soul singer in the 80s, I think she was a one-hit wonder. She sadly died of cancer in 1998.

After getting a notice you replied to me, and the moment I saw again our conversation, the song came back to me. Sad to hear about her death.  What a great voice! Since originally posting my comment of April 13, I now know for sure I had not heard of her before your post. I'm a fan! I love that picture of her,  too. She's beautiful to me.
