When was the last time you walked into sliding glass door?

Not long after I moved here.  The previous owner had decals across the door at eye level....you know...so no one would walk into the door.  I, of course, was having none of that.  I removed the duck decals and cleaned the glass doors.  The next day I effectively walked into the door and saw stars.  I will not put decals on the door but I have cellular blinds on the door and always leave it down at least enough to get my attention before walking through that door.  I have grown to hate sliding glass doors.  I wish I had replaced both of mine with a two window one french door unit when I did the renovation.  It was going to be really expensive so I didn't.

Same with me lol. I was watching a show reminded me of when I did it. I think it hurt my ego more than my face.

Funny you should ask.  It was just a couple of weeks ago.  We'd had a nice cool spell, so the windows had been open.  The first day it warmed up, I closed the sliding glass door, then immediately forgot about it.  You know the rest of the story.  I wasn't hurt and no one else was here. If it ever happens again just pretend you are doing a mime in  a glass box act then people won't laugh at you because  nobody thinks mimes  are funny. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at April 19, 2020 11:15 AM MDT
