Who is one person you would just love to have a sit-down conversation with?

What about?

Well, it couldn't be President Trump. He can't seem to stop yacking long enough for anyone to get a word in.  Then you got Burnie Sanders. He is so full of socialist horse crap, how can you talk to him?  That leaves Biden. I never paid any attention to him anyway.

The guy is a trip. I remember back in the 80’s, when shallow people were mocking him, while he was making bank, getting famous and living large. I could stand a few minutes of talking with him myself.

Not me, not even if you tried to pay me.  I don't think I could stay in the same room with him any longer that it took to sprint to the exit.

    Howard Jones

-- about his music; I'd like to thank him for bettering my life and inspiring me. And I'd like to tell him I find his lyrics for "What Is Love?" the best song I've heard about the subject of "love."
And then I'd just like to listen to him share whatever he'd like.

Boy, I surely choreographed that conversation, huh?
    :)

Sounds like you’ve thought this out.

Not familiar with Mr Jones’ work (I’m an Ozzy fan), but you make a good case for him. As for myself, I’d have to ask him about his snappy shirts.

    Hey, thanks, Don Barzini :)

I'm not really familiar with Ozzy's stuff but I do like many I've heard.

Here's Jones' song "What Is Love?" with the lyrics --  in a world of so many sappy (to me) love songs, this one, lyrics-wise, just nails it all for me in many ways. And Jones' music is great to me, too. He writes most all of his stuff -- music and lyrics.

Yeah, that is a snappy shirt. :)

My maternal grandfather. I never met him, but I hear he was a brilliant man.

I think DeGrasse Tyson would make a compelling case. What difference does it make to Pluto anyway?

I've seen this question a few times on web sites and I've always answered with the same name....Ernest Hemingway.  And now, we would have so much to talk about, being that he spent a whole summer quarantined with his wife (and his mistress).  I must know how he managed that!  Too bad that he has already left this Earth.

Golda Meir.  I would ask her what it was like to be in the forefront of Israel's struggle for statehood and it's survival considering all the anti-Semitism in the world back then (and even now).

Maybe Randy D , as at times wen E' tries ard to correct me ,I can't "Stand"talking to him and would only sit with my back facing him....    :)
That should upset him enough for the day I think...I have to mince my WURDS a bit as I know he can't abide honest criticism and advice from all much cuter females...
Jamie will back me up on this I'm pretty sure...hehe
