It's for... uh... the virus.  Yes, that's it, it's for the virus.  (um... would you happen to have some lime I could borrow?)

And since when did you start gardening at night?  You must be new at it; I’ve never heard of anyone digging a pit so deep for marigolds and cucumbers. What is that, four feet deep?

Um... planting under moonlight has been shown to increase the vitality of certain plants . And everyone knows that the key to getting a good crop of veggies and flowers is to have a good root cellar... I mean system.  While most recommended a hole of 3'x4', I alway go for 3'x6' ... just to be on the safe side.

I knew you were coming, so I had to mask the smells of Vegemite and avocado. The tarp and shovel are for handling all the bs that will be talked about tildes and grammar. I'll package it and sell it as fertilizer.

You forgot the bag of lime. John Wayne Gacy used lime to cover the scent of the victims buried under his house.

Look, we had a deal. You don't ask questions and I share the cash with you. Are you doing to start digging or will I need two holes instead of one?

Ok, I’ll dig the hole like you asked me to, but it makes me nervous to have you standing there behind me while I do it. Everyone remembers what happened to “Eleven Toes” MacGloshiemer when he left town to go do that job with you in Tegucigalpa . . .
