  • For one second while the yo-yo went down. I could never figure out how to make it go back up. I hate yo-yos.

    Trust a dog to put some spin on poor ole Ellie's question....You do realize that life is not aways a bed of Roses and every single thing we all do has its Up's and Downs ....
    I can only say that its like Horn Dogs that rise to the occassion when their services are needed...  :(

    Woof!  No, life isn't a bed of roses, but eventually we all push up daisies.  Yes, we all have our ups and downs, but it seems the older we get the harder it is to have ups (I blame gravity).

    I did but my idea of playing with a yo-yo was to  sabatoge them.  I would take someone's yo-yo - take it apart and remove the string from the center spool. Then I would put it back together - wrap the string back up then stand around whistling untill the kid tried to play with their yo-yo. Cheers!

    i had a Seattle Seahawks yoyo i got from a social worker. i LOVED that thing and played with it constantly

    Yes. I also hit myself with one more than once trying to do fancy tricks. Luckily, I gave up before I really got hurt!

    Ever since I've been on AnswerMug (and before that, Answerbag ), I've always enjoyed exploring the Question Categories.
    It was me ("I"? Unsure of grammar) who found this question as I explored Question Categories yesterday.  :)
