Why are some of you apparently so surprised that ANY politician does something based on politics, regardless of his or her affiliation?

 

  Please quit pretending that only the politicians who you like or support are the ones who do everything correctly. Politics as usual, and all politicians play politics.

    Yes.  Some of them stink in relation to certain issues and others stink in relation to different issues.

    And no measure of that is objective. Democrats think Republicans stink more, and Republicans think Democrats stink more.

     That they all play politics is exactly my point. The hypocrisy of one side accusing the other side of playing politics is as absurd as one football coach accusing the opposing team of attempting to win the game, one chef accusing another of trying to create a dish that customers might enjoy, or one boat captain accusing another captain of trying to keep a vessel afloat.

    There are degrees of playing politics.  In the last years we have seen the left take playing politics to a new and evil dangerous high.

    Exactly because poluticians, like the police and military, have to be there to serve one goal oriented function. You can't blame a politician for being a politician for political ends. You don't have to like or agree with them but that's not the point of liking or agreeing with them. Wait!..
