Thst nothing exceeds the depth of human selfishness. Nobody needs 150 rolls of TP. Wearing a mask is a minor inconvenience, being an asymptomatic carrier can KILL somebody.

That, I guess, (and fortunately for me), the "humans racing" near and alongside me, and with whom I've interacted, are considerate, thoughtful, helpful and supportive. And all of them, even while acknowledging the serious nature of recent circumstances, are still retaining a spirit of hope and humor.

Nothing new really. From my point of view, people are still doing a lot of the same good things and bad things that they did prior to a few months ago.

People in large numbers are idiots. I mean WTF is the correlation between COVID-19 and toilet paper? COVID-19 doesn't attack and infect the arse. It infects the respiratory system. This post was edited by Zack at May 27, 2020 11:36 PM MDT

    Whiners.

    Followers.

Way too many fit these descriptors.

I am proud of the first groups who protested the illegal, unconstitutional, ridiculous, state lockdowns and quarantines.  Those Michiganders started it and I was rooting for them......no whiners and/or followers among them.   People of action.  Americans.

Selfishly spreading the virus willy-nilly, like Philadelphians did in 1918. History always repeats.
There will be a second wave in America, almost certainly a third, and probably a fourth - because people scream about "freedom" while refusing to accept its price, responsibility. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at May 28, 2020 4:49 PM MDT

That mankind is nothing compared with nature....Humans think there are the Bees Knees and lord it over most all large things that roam this planet....then along comes a tiny minuscule bug that has the potential to wipe out   all of humanity...Now rather then join hands and fight this bug together...Huge Reserch companies are desperate to get their vaccine out first and force people pay and capitalizes on the situation....
If we don't put actual living things before profit...we could nearly all end up dead ..
