I don’t mean to egg you on (yes I do), but what are some adages, idioms or expressions that use names of foods as verbs?

    Egg on. Slang To urge someone to do something, often something mischievous. to encourage, urge, or dare someone to continue doing something, usually something unwise. Incite, urge ahead, provoke, as in Jack is always egging me on to drive faster, or Seemingly quiet, Margo actually eggs on Donald to quarrel with his staff.
    Egg on my face. Slang To be embarrassed or chagrined at something one has done or the way one did it; to do something ineptly. The expression originated in the United States some 25 years ago, probably from the fact that someone eating an egg sloppily is likely to wind up with some of it on his face and therefore not looking his best.     [Crazy busy weekend a bit for me -- I saw your posts somewhere (can't remember where now) about the movie 'Williard" -- I've seen and really like both the original and the remake (starring Crispin Glover). In some ways, I prefer the remake with Glover - - his performance is amazing to me. And my liking the remake goes against my disagreement with a planned remake of the movie "Memento;" (I posted a question about the planned "memento" remake.) ]

    Sexy actresses? Ick. Ha! :) Just kidding.
