Maybe Billy Elliot it's about a dancing boy or Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure it's about a man boy that goes  on  a big adventur. Chears and happy weekend!

Why do you automatically expect that such films won't be "good," however you define that? And since you brought it up, how do you define a "boy movie?"

FFS  Stu, I define a boy movie as one  that has a main cast of mostly “boys“. I usually like movies with people in it that I can in someway identify with or relate to, I think most people do. Was Annie or adventures in babysitting a favourite movie of yours when you were young??? PROBABLY NOT.

    "Lost Boys".

That's two boy movies in the bank for Keifer Sutherland.

I haven’t seen that movie yet either, thank you. I’m huge Keifer fan too, so I need to get on that one :)

Well, hold on a second.  What is it about guys that you definitely like and that you don’t forget?

Oh, I see. I guess a woman had to have her priorities in life, right?  Very well, carry on. (Cough, cough.)

    "About a Boy"
The critic Nell Minnows says, "The plot may sound like manipulative claptrap from a made-for-TV movie, but the theme has so much appeal that even a lousy script and poor production values can't completely destroy it."

The reality is, it's actually quite a good plot that explores the character and motivations of an emotional avoidant - and contrasts this lovelessness against real altruism and intimacy.
It's these deeper themes that compensate for the lacks in filmic creativity.

Ya the Sandlot is a good movie I like how it has a happy ending and turns out the dog was really a lovable freindly dog instead  of the monster everybody thought it was. Cheers!
