      No, seriously, I don’t recognize that term, “Senior Ditch Day”, so maybe it didn’t exist way back in the good old days when I was a high school senior.

    I’m not sure what year it would have started but it’s been a thing for a long time.  It’s a day off unofficially scheduled (by students) towards the end of the school year,  but before exams. It’s just a day the entire senior class skips school and does something fun as a group. It usually includes a large amount of underage drinking, drugs and a large body of water. Ours was at a beach a few towns away, started on a Friday night but the official “skip day” was the following Monday.  You probably had one and didn’t go...studying important grammar stuff ;)

      Thank you, I know what it is and what it means, it might have existed when I was in school, but I never would have participated in anything like that. And you’re right, there was probably some important grammar-related event taking place on the last day of school, I wouldn’t have missed it for a million dollars.

    That was 42 years ago, and I don't remember. Most likely, I went to the nearby park to hang with my fellow stoners and get wasted, but I did that just about every day anyway.

    Nothing like that in Australia. We did have "muck up day", the last day before "swotvac" where the senior class takes over the school, roasts the teachers etc. I did a parody of Bon Jovi, "Losing all my hair" and did lose quite a lot of it. Went from a mullet to a buzzcut.

    Took a half a bit of red blotter acid and sat in my legless sofa chair hippy pad blasting Alice Coopers Schools Out for summer early! I played hooky many times! But I graduated.
    Now comes karma.  We don't think your prepared! We want you to take one more of high school year to catch up to reality! And I did. At a "sports orientated" school in Cambridge!!!

    I went to school and sat in class with Outcast School Shooter Guy, Perfect Valedictorian Girl and my three BFFs who were too cool for Senior Ditch Day.  Oh wait, this question already answered itself for me!

    Don't remember for sure. But likely went to a party. But not with the entire class. I did not like most of them.
