That hardly makes her a harlot. Just don't  concern yourself with her. And I have been on Similar Worlds. Lots more people on there than here.

 

  You should probably look up the definitions of the word harlot and reevaluate whether or not they appropriately describe what it is you’re trying to express here. Your displeasure with what that one woman did or is doing does not seem to be sufficient reason to say there are many “harlots” on that website.

Franc, it's deeply insulting to a woman to call her a harlot just because she's talking to someone else but not you.  That's bad incel behavior, please don't be like the incels.  It's probably not even anything personal against you.  Keep in mind, she's probably getting a lot of guys messaging her the same time you're messaging her.  

Anyway, as soon as we log into SW, our inboxes start getting nuked with new messages right away.  Those aren't messages that were sent while I was offline, those were all messages that were all sent within a few seconds of logging in.  It's helped a lot now that SW added our relationship status to our profiles.  Being married really took care of that problem for me, so now I can go there and concentrate on my friends.

It's also the reason why lots of women there just block all guys by default or just turn off their online status.

Perhaps she ignores you because she does not want to talk to you.  Are we all somehow supposed to talk to you whatever? Are we somehow not allowed to do what we want?  I think that maybe it is better, as well as more sociable, to demonstrate real concern for others rather than dismissing them as "harlots". 

 

  What a paradox, what a dilemma: crickets chirping on one website with its hours-long time periods between any posts whatsoever, and so much input on another website that it overwhelms with its bombardments of traffic that cannot be responded to due to their volume. Sigh.

Actually, if you're talking about people, many more end up on Similar Worlds. Have you been on there? Scores more active participants than on here.

 

  Additionally, I’m measuring activity not by number of members or numbers participants but by the number of posts, either questions, answers, comments, ”Likes”, and all others. I base it on the years-old model of the now defunct AnswerBag website, which had active members on several continents who contributed collectively at all hours day and night due to the various time zones worldwide. It was common for at least twenty new posts in an hour’s time, often many times that.   A Q&A website may have a lot of members overall, but it’s the number of them who actively participate that counts.  Many people are merely passive lookie-loos who do not involve themselves in the content, they just read what others write.

  I do not know anything about SimilarWorlds, but AnswerMug goes through exhaustive hours of dead air every single day for weeks now, perhaps months.

In that sense, Similar Worlds is more like the old Answerbag than is this site.

Ah for those days. 2009 t0 2013 on answerbag. Great experience and enough participants so not difficult to find others into what I was in to.
