Do tall people see short people like theyre too young to hang out with them?

Im only 4ft5 and ive noticed where i live noone ever asks me over for anything, not even a home bible study, they dont invite me over for dinner, never want to spend the day with me, nothing, even my neighbors , like one when he needs someone to watch his dog will ask my other neighbor but never me, i know how to do a good job taking care of one. do people see short people like theyre not old enough to hang out with? just wondered what others thought

Pearl used a capital letter to start a sentence!  Get Randy D to the Emergency Room stat!  He’s suffering from shock!

Do any of them know that you want to be invited or that you’re willing to watch the dog?  No one can read your mind, start conversations with them and let them know. I doubt size or height have much to do with it, unless they assume that you might be afraid for the interaction.

When I saw this question on the homepage, I was about to go off the deep end. I'm a short guy who's easily triggered by questions like these. It's okay though...I'm happy it wasn't posted by someone in a tall or comfortable height bracket looking to make fun at our expense. It's a serious pet peeve of mine.

To answer your question properly; no, I don't think that is the case. The cold hard truth: Life is a rat race. People only want to hang with those who have something they can benefit from. Don't worry, however, because that kind of friendship is fake. And you can consider yourself above that! :)

Sorry, Pearl. It’s all in the spirit of the way things flow in a normal conversation. There’s no reason you can’t steer things back to the original topic by reminding people of who’s the boss-lady around here.

P.S.  Thank you, Spunky Senior, for pointing it out.

You made a big enough deal when I added something to one of my answers not directly relating to your question, so I thought I would point out the hypocrisy.  You're welcome.

With all of the complaining you do about
all of the people that live there...
    You wonder why?

You have complained about almost every one of your neighbors, yet you're surprised that they don't want to associate with you.  You have said you have a physical disability which prevents you from getting around, so how would you walk someone's dog?  Trust me, Pearl, it has nothing to do with your height.
